IDCUBE’s Protean ezGATE Controller is a new
generation access control panel, designed specifically
to meet Smart Entrance Access Management
requirements. The two-reader controller is a reliable
solution for e-ticketing & visitor management. It
processes user information using a Secured Access
Object (SAO) framework, received in the form of a QR
Code.
The Protean seamlessly integrates with various automatic barrier systems such as flap barriers, turnstiles etc along with displays to flash user information or welcome messages at the time of user presenting the access credential. QR Code is easier to handle and can be easily printed on paper or electronically transferred as messages, which makes it a much economical alternative to smart cards. The SAO based QR codes are encrypted as per industry standards therefore cannot be tampered.
