IMPORTANT ANNOUNCMENT FOR EVOLIS
In consolidation of the Egyptian republic policy and its war in confronting and defeating the Money laundry practices , through the smuggling and commercial fraud crimes , and by the imperative of our rule as a national , loyal company take all the due attentive care for participating in our country Egypt economy stabilization, also on the efforts of eliminating and mitigating the risk of the black market and the commercial fraud processes, and such alike illegal commercial practices that forbidden by Egyptian law:
Those articulated criminal penalties of confinement up to five years, and financial penalty up to five million Egyptian pounds.
As for known that AIC is the Official Partner (Distributor) and distributor of a number of esteemed reputable international companies and brands inside A.R.E. and at top EVOLIS – France – those issued instruction and regulation to their agents and distributors all over the world to activate the legal practices of commercial fraud and black market at their countries, so up from the previously stated:
AIC firmly requesting of all our customers, resellers, and contractors to stop dealing with the Black-market, whether in purchasing any of the card printer machines and encryption of cards or any of the spare parts or consumables.
Because in case of any reported case , then it shall be reported to the legal and regulatory authorities in the country as for example :
(The Ministry of Interior and it’s administration of public funds & anti-money laundry, the Consumer Protection Agency, as well as the anti-money laundering agency) in addition those legal and criminal actions and consequences.
For AIC commercial procedures of consequences in case of breach that shall comply by AIC – Al Maalim International Company are the following:
First: -
Removing the convicted reseller from the list of AIC & Egypt’s authorized resellers and withdraw the goods he has within the framework of the regulations regulated by law and legally report him to the concerned legal and authorities’ regulatory agencies promptly.
Second:
Cancel the client's contract and legally report him to the concerned legal and authorities’ regulatory agencies immediately post negative networking with the client.
Third:
- Cancel the warranty on the equipment and equipment for any customers using spare parts or consumables from the black-market and legally report him to the concerned legal and authorities’ regulatory agencies promptly.
Fourth: -
Any distributor who has contributed to the importing, trading, sale or installation of any machinery, appliances, spare parts or counterfeit or black-market consumer shall be fined the financial and criminal fines provided for his criminal practices by law in accordance with the Egyptian law.
It worth to mention that the term of “products traded on the black-market” are defined by this announcement as follow:
- duplicated Evolis products in general.
- Original Evolis products brought from China illegally.
- Original Evolis products brought from any country all over the world illegally to compete with the local agent and create a black or even gray market without paying the government custom duties and the necessary tax and fees of regulatory and the republic treasury dues in accordance with the Egyptian law.
